The Alaafin of Oyo Oba Lamidi Adeyemi on Saturday, January 15 celebrated his 51st coronation anniversary.
The monarch ascended the throne on January 14, 1971, aged 31.
Oba Adeyemi clocked 85 on October 15, 2021.
In one of the photos shared by the monarch on Instagram, the wives of the Alaafin led by Olori Ramat Adeyemi are seen reciting the “oriki” meaning words of praises.
The Osolo of Isolo Oba Kabiru Agbabiaka was also present.
The Alaafin posed with his wives for photos for the cutting of the cake.
The Aare Onikoyi of Yoruba land Tomori Williams was also present at the occasion.
