Former president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) Segun Arinze is set to play the role of Moshood Abiola in a biopic about the late politician’s wife Kudirat Abiola.
The 57-year-old shared a picture of himself from the movie set on Instagram on Friday.
He wore an agbada designed like the one Abiola wore to the polling booth on June 12, 1993.
“What does this remind you of?” Segun Arinze captioned his post.
Qed.ng learnt the film is being shot in Ibadan by Joshua Sete.

Abiola, popularly known as MKO from the first three letters in his names Moshood Kashimawo Olawale, contested and won the June 12, 1993 on the platform of the Social Democratic Party (SDP).
The election was annulled by the then-military ruler General Ibrahim Babangida.
Abiola was arrested and jailed by Babangida’s successor General Sani Abacha.
His wife Kudirat was assassinated by suspected government agents on June 4, 1996 while her husband was in detention.
Abiola himself died in detention on July 7, 1998, one month after Abacha’s death.
