Tennis great, Serena Williams, on Wednesday, announced on Snapchat that she is pregnant by posting an image of herself in a yellow bikini with the caption “20 weeks.”
The 35-year-old, who is engaged to Reddit co-founder, Alexis Ohanian, pulled out of Indian Wells and Miami in early March, citing a knee injury.
Her last competitive match was the Australian Open final, a 6-4, 6-4 victory over her sister Venus in January.
It would be recalled that back in December, the 23 Grand Slam singles titles winner documented her engagement on Reddit back with a poem.
Ohanian, 33, also posted to Reddit at the time of the proposal with the line, “she said yes.”
The duo began dating in October 2015 but had made their relationship secret until the announcement of their engagement.
This will be the first child for the two.
