Afrobeat singer, Seun Kuti, has joked about joining the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The 37-year-old made the joke on Instagram on Wednesday when he wrote, “Today I joined the APC but the struggle continues.”
When some of his followers suggested that it might be an April Fool’s Day Joke, the ‘IMF’ singer responded with laughing emojis.
Seun has been openly critical of the government.
On Sunday, he expressed his displeasure over the quality of the relief materials distributed to households under lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic.
He tweeted, “What’s all dis rubbish Oga Governor, will you distribute this to your family and elite friends, too? Una tink una fit bu our conscience?…”
