Afrobeat singer Seun Kuti has paid tribute to his father Fela Anikulapo-Kuti on the 26th memorial of his death.
The 40-year-old said in a message posted on Instagram on Wednesday that yesterday was hard but today is better.
“Eleeeeeeniyaaaaaaaaaaaan!!! October 15 1938- August 2 1997. Yesterday was hard, today is better!!! Love you always,” Seun wrote.

Seun is the last child of Fela who died of AIDS on August 2, 1997 at the age of 58.
Fela’s other children are Yeni Kuti, Femi Kuti, Kunle Kuti, Shalewa Kuti, Motunrayo Kuti and the late Sola Kuti.
