Afrobeats singer Seun Kuti has made jest of comedian AY while reacting to a skit Bovi made about him.
Bovi’s skit about the musician has been trending on social media. The two-minute and 33-second clip shows Bovi negotiating with kidnappers on the release of some Nigerian celebrities who were abducted.
While Bovi agreed to pay millions of naira for the release of other celebrities and he only offered N250k for Seun Kuti.
Reacting to the video in a recent Instagram live session, Seun who laughed off the skit, called Bovi a funny person unlike his colleague.
“Oh, that Bovi skit, e no go better for Bovi. the guy no well, him be wan even do am for his show, him don tell me, Bovi is a funny guy, not like that other guy that is not funny. His name rhymes with Dakun, nowhere him no dey beg.”

Recall that Seun and AY clashed in November 2023, after the musician accused the comedian of calling his daughter a dog in one of his skits.
AY’s apology was also rejected by Seun.
