Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan, has confessed he had sex with the young woman threatening to release a tape of the two in the act.
He has however requested for a paternity test to confirm whether he is indeed responsible for the pregnancy of the 22-year-old university student.
Sarah Kwabla is alleging that the Ghanaian football star got her pregnant and is therefore demanding financial support from him.
Gyan’s lawyer, Kissi Agyabeng, revealed in a radio interview that his client had consensual intercourse with Sarah but doubted the footballer was responsible for the pregnancy.
Meanwhile lawyer for the lady, Maurice Ampaw has alleged that “Asamoah is refusing to take full responsibility of the pregnancy.”
He also accuses him of sodomy.
A paternity test reportedly scheduled to have been conducted on Tuesday, June 23, to ascertain whether or not Asamoah Gyan is responsible for the pregnancy did not take place after Kwabla refused to turn up.
The accuser wants a fully furnished house and $1000 every month for her upkeep.
She claims the Al Ain of UAE striker forcibly had anal sex with her while she bled profusely but has refused to take responsibility for his actions.
Ampaw told Joy News in Ghana that “Asamoah Gyan met this lady not too long and then they entered into a short relationship…they had sex.”
He said Asamoah Gyan and his management “started doubting whether they are responsible [for the pregnancy] or not…” but “unfortunately for Asamoah Gyan, I think the girl had CCTV cameras in the place so their act was being recorded.”
Kwabla, Ampaw added, “thinks that she has been disgraced, she has been disrespected and she wants the matter to be investigated.”
