Comedian Oluseyi Aletile, widely known by his stage name Seyi Law, has addressed an allegation of being part of a cult.
An X user identified as Cult Wahala Naija shared a video on Thursday suggesting that the comedian is a prominent member of the Eiye Confraternity, a secret cult.
The social media user alleged that the comic was a “supreme member” of the cult and also claimed that nearly everyone in the south-west is affiliated with the group.
The post read, “So @seyilaw1 na supreme Eiye member. Almost everybody na Eiye for SouthWest.”
In response, Seyi Law took to his X account on Friday, hinting at possible legal action against the accuser.
He wrote, “I hope that when I take action now, people won’t call it oppression.”
Seyi Law was recently appointed senior special assistant on entertainment and tourism to Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
