Comedian, Seyi Law, has apologized to his wife, Stacey, for posting a fake news that announced that he parted ways with her one month to the eighth anniversary of their wedding.
The 35-year-old, born Oluwaseyitan Aletile, made the apology to his wife via Instagram on Sunday.
He said that his wife found the joke “embarrassing” and “way out of line” but thanked her for forgiving his excesses.
“May God never give us a reason to part ways, but PATH many ways for the future generations to tread,” he wrote.
Seyi Law, earliet on Sunday posted a fake news that he had parted ways with his wife, Stacey.
He later clarified that the post was to promote his shows since he was not getting the kind of public attention he wanted.
Seyi and Stacey got married on March 27, 2011.
They welcomed their child, Tiwaloluwa, on October 1, 2016.
Their first child died at birth in February 2015.
The comedian is due to perform in the UK in April.
