High-profile individuals on Wednesday attended the 70th birthday thanksgiving of Bola Obasanjo, wife of former President Olusegun Obasanjo in Abeokuta, Ogun State capital.
Attendees were dressed elegantly for the occasion and among them were the wife of the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Pastor Foluke Adeboye aka Mummy GO, socialite Shade Okoya, musician Ebenezer Obey, and founder of Love of Christ Generation Church (C&S), Esther Ajayi.
Also present was Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun, his deputy Noimot Salako-Oyedele, the Alake of Egba land Oba Adedotun Gbadebo III, Nigerian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Ambassador Sarafa Isola; and former minister of finance, budget and national planning, Kemi Adeosun.

Clergymen and religious leaders from the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Ogun State chapter were also present.
At the occasion, the celebrant sang ‘How Great Thou Art’ and danced in excitement with her husband in appreciation to God on her 70th birthday.
They also went on their knees to receive prayers from Mummy GO. The clergywoman prayed that the celebrant would continue to lead a life of thanksgiving and that others would follow her legacy.
