Actress Foluke Daramola has shared a health update on her colleague Tope Osoba who recently underwent breast cancer surgery.
In a video posted on Monday, Foluke showed Tope on a hospital bed, revealing that she is currently in recovery and will soon make a significant.
In the same video, a recovering Tope expressed her gratitude to fans for their unwavering support.
“Hello, everybody. Thank you for the love. I appreciate you all. I am alive, and I am stronger than ever,” Tope said, assuring the public.
Foluke also delivered money to Tope.
In addition to previous donations that had been transferred to her bank account, Foluke personally handed over a sum exceeding N700,000 that people donated.
Expressing her gratitude, Foluke captioned the video post, “Thank u! Thank u!! Thank u to everyone. @osobatemitope appreciates u all. She’s recuperating just fine. God bless u all. A ni shey aisan o. Amin.”
The video received an outpouring of positive comments from fellow actors and actresses.
Wumi Toriola wrote, “Thank God.”
Mo Bimpe added, “Oluwa seun.”
Other colleagues like Fausat Balogun, Ayo Olaiya, and Seyi Edun joined in the chorus of thanks and relief.
Last week Friday, Foluke had shared a heartfelt video of Tope thanking the public for their financial support which allowed her to undergo surgery for breast cancer.
Despite not receiving as much financial help as they had hoped, Foluke acknowledged and appreciated the assistance from well-wishers.
Foluke alongside other actors such as Alesh Sanni and Tawa Ajisefini, has been active in appealing to generous Nigerians to continue supporting Tope’s recovery.
