The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has released former senator, Shehu Sani, after meeting conditions for bail.
Mr Sani, who represented Kaduna Central senatorial district at the National Assembly, was released on Thursday.
The former federal lawmaker spent four weeks in the agency’s custody before his release.
Sani was granted a N10 million bail on Monday by the Federal High Court in Abuja.
He is facing charges for alleged name-dropping and extortion of $24,000.
