Singer Omawumi Mgbede has celebrated her daughter Kamillah on the latter’s 11th birthday, describing her as “Omawumi on steroids”.
The 40-year-old in an Instagram post on Friday shared a throwback photo of herself and the celebrant with a goodwill message.
Omawumi noted that her Kamillah was the reason people started calling her ‘Mama Kay’. She expressed her gratitude to God for blessing her with a ‘talented, kind-hearted, brilliant and beautiful daughter’.
She wrote: “The Kamillah that made people start calling me ‘Mama Kay’ is 11 today… God is just Awesome! I would love to tell you how much of a character she is but ink go finish! So let’s just say she’s Omawumi on steroids.
“I am super grateful to God for this kind-hearted, brilliant, talented, beautiful and just downright amazing Daughter of mine! Happy Birthday ‘Omawumi’s Baby! Ehn ehn Wonder!’ P.s this photo is 2 years ago.”
