Veteran musician Sir Shina Peters has recalled his last moment with late music promoter Ola Ibironke popularly known as Dudu Heritage who reportedly died on Sunday night.
The 63-year-old shared a video of himself with the deceased, politician Dele Momodu, fuji musician Wasiu Ayinde and Otunba Bimbola Davies saying that they had a nice time at a party they went for together.
“It came as a shock to me when I heard the news of the passing of my friend and brother Ibironke, CEO Dudu Heritage. Three days ago we hung out together, you, myself, Dele Momodu, Wasiu Ayinde and Otunba Bimbola Davies, we further went to a party where we danced and had a nice time together and just yesterday I heard the news of your passing. I am speechless and my heart is saddened, my sincere condolences to your family.
“You will be missed greatly my friend, you have gone to rest in a better place,” he wrote.
According to reports, Ibironke slumped at the Ibadan Golf Club (IGC) around 8:30 pm, efforts to resuscitate him proved abortive. He was rushed to the hospital where he was confirmed dead.
Dudu Heritage was married to Nollywood actress Bimbo Oshin.
