Days after her much-talked about 60th birthday party in Lagos, Siju Iluyomade, wife of the pastor of City of David Parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Idowu Iluyomade, has continued her celebration on Instagram.
Iluyomade held an elaborate celebration on February 18, days after a prominent member of her parish Herbert Wigwe died in a helicopter crash in the United States alongside his wife and first son.
Iluyomade gathered influential guests, including billionaires and monarchs, to rejoice with her at the reception which took place at Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Her decision to celebrate within days of the tragedy has been met with criticism.
The clergywoman and her husband also got tongues wagging when a singer, Flavour N’abania, serenaded her with his hit songs, such as ‘Ada Ada’, ‘Berna’, ‘Big Baller’ and ‘Adamma’. Some netizens questioned the presence of a secular singer at a party hosted by a pastor.
Unbothered by the criticism, Iluyomade, founder of Arise Women, shared photos of the celebration on Instagram.

“Unforgettable 60: Grateful for a spectacular Diamond Jubilee celebration! Thank you to everyone who made it unforgettable. Here’s to cherished memories, lasting moments, and many more milestones ahead. Diamonds are Forever!” She wrote.
The clergywoman also shared videos of some of her guests being given pink buckets as souvenirs, adding that it was a “humbling experience to share the gift of life and abundance on this milestone occasion.”
Iluyomade revealed that her foundation provided food packs, ingredients, and meals to those in need.
“With each smile we brought to the faces of the people who trooped out to celebrate my 60th, my heart swelled with gratitude,” she captioned one of her posts.
