Singer Paul Play has stated the silence of celebrities over the mayhem in Nigeria baffles him.
The ‘Angel of my Life’ singer said on Instagram following the attack on worshippers of St Francis Catholic Church, Owo, Ondo State, were attacked on Sunday, by gunmen, leading to the loss of lives.
Reacting to the tragic incident on Monday, Paul Play stated that he was baffled by the silence of his colleagues.
He wrote: “What baffles me is how celebrities say nothing when mayhem happens if the country scatters who go buy music and watch film?”
Some celebrities like Omoborty and Wumi Toriola who condemned the attack announced that they are taking a break from Instagram while Opeyemi Aiyeola urged her colleagues to join in fighting against bad governance.
Meanwhile, another actress Regina Chukwu has threatened to beat up any celebrity she finds campaigning for old politicians.
