Singer Simi has shared a heartfelt birthday tribute to her husband Adekunle Gold, as he turns 38, reflecting on her growing admiration for him.
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, Simi posted a message to mark his special day, sharing intimate moments of the couple.
“Baby, you started out GREAT, and you’ve only gotten better with age,” she wrote.
“This past year, I’ve been more aware of how much I truly like you as a person. I’ve always known it, but now I really pay attention to it – because it’s not easy to consistently like someone you live with, sleep with almost every day.
“(‘Almost’ because when it’s about money, you’re off in an airplane). Thank you for being so lovable, Oko mi.”
She continued, “You deserve all the best things in life, and my Good God will always come through for you. If only you could see yourself through my eyes, you’d realize how much you mean to me.”

Adekunle also shared a stylish photo of himself in a brown outfit on X, writing, “New Age. New Energy. Same Vision.”
Simi and Adekunle tied the knot in a private ceremony on January 9, 2019 and welcomed their daughter, Adejare (Deja), in 2020.
