Singer Adekunle Gold got his wife Simi emotional when he showed up during the Nigerian Idol reality show on Sunday with a surprise birthday cake.
Simi, one of the judges on the show, could not hold back her excitement when her Adekunle came in backstage with a birthday for the singer who clocked 34 last week.
Adekunle presented the cake to his wife saying, “I am your biggest fan. I am proud of you, well done, Deja and I am rooting for you and we love you, I love you”.
The excited mother of one hugged her husband and they shared kisses while the crowd cheered.
In his birthday message to Simi on April 19, Adekunle wrote: “My angel from above You’ve given me something special. Simi, you’re my favorite sign. It must be the reason why we align. You’re perfect and that’s facts. Pretty Pretty face and you don’t brag Baby, take my card, buy yourself a new bag. Happy Birthday, Magic.”
