Gospel singer Osinachi Kalu Okoro Egbu, known professionally as Sinach, threw a party over the weekend to celebrate her 52nd birthday.
The birthday party hosted by Lalita Taylor, an executive producer at the BBC, at Dorchester Hotel in London was attended by friends and family of the celebrant including her husband and daughter.
The event included interactive sessions, orchestral performances and a performance by the celebrant.
Some of the guests at the birthday party include; SL Kemi Balogun, Queen Ronke Ademiluyi-Ogunwusi Olori of the Ife Kingdom & founder African Fashion Week; Dr Susan Fajana-Thomas OBE, cabinet member for Community Safety and Regulatory Services; Nero Ughwujabo, special advisor to Prime Minister Theresa May – director, Diversity at Prince’s Trust (King Charles’s charity).
Also, there were: Her Excellency Janet Charles, Acting High Commissioner, Dominica Hogh Commission, London; Dr Yvonne Thompson CBE, Deputy Lieutenant, The King’s Representative for Greater London & President-Elect of Institute of Project Management UK; Mr & Mrs Okonkwo ( E Money), Bright Ekeleme and Chido Mnangagwa (daughter of President of Zimbabwe) Mr Obinna Egbu, Henry Nwoke, Ms. Uloaku Ojiaku, Ehi Moses, and Ms Chim Moore of Magnum Security Services Ltd Zambia.
The gospel singer also took to her Instagram account to share pictures from the party and also express her gratitude to those who celebrated her.
She wrote: “What a Weekend!! Thank you for celebrating me on my birthday in such a special way! If there is way to respond to you all one by one, I would do so. I want to thank our friends and loved ones who gathered together to celebrate me!
“I thank God with all my heart for this new season of uncommon grace and great open gates!! The light of the Name of Jesus will shine brighter and brighter through us!
“As you have celebrated me, celebration will not cease in your life in Jesus name amen!”
Sinach got married to Joseph Egbu in 2014.
