The Irish singer declared that music “has officially died” and called for a boycott of the iconic music magazine for making the decision to feature her.
In an expletive-filled rant on Facebook, the 48-year-old, wrote: “What is this c**t doing on the cover of Rolling Stone?
“Music has officially died. Who knew it would be Rolling Stone that murdered it? Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh can no longer be expected to take all the blame.
“Bob Dylan must be f**cing horrified.”
She then called on fans to “#BoycottRollingStone.”
The post quickly went viral over social media and just hours after it was posted it has received nearly six thousand ‘likes’.
It has since been deleted.
This is not the first time the artiste known for controversy on and off state will be calling out other entertainers.
The ‘Nothing Compares 2 U’ singer has previously slammed Miley Cyrus’s behaviour in 2013 and 2014.
Last year, Sinead posted an image of a scantily-clad Miley with her mouth full of dollar bills under the caption: “Does Anyone Know The Whereabouts Of this Girl’s Parents?”
In the post she claims Miley’s parents are missing in action, adding: “No human being on earth would be photographing, filming or watching my child-like looking daughter dressed as a stripper with a load of cash stuck in her mouth.”
The Irish singer criticised the music industry for the sexualising of minors, as she claimed Miley is unconsciously doing the same.
She signs off by saying the sexualised behaviour by certain artists make for a “double win for an industry crawling with evil”.
In 2013, she also accused Simon Cowell and The X Factor of ruining the industry.
She said: “I feel sorry for the murder of rock ‘n’ roll which has happened because of the industry. Because of Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh and the lot of them (talent show judges) have murdered music.
“They’re murderers of music! I stand and say it on behalf of every musician in the world and they will all agree with it.”
