Singer and songwriter, Djinee, was involved in a car accident and is presently receiving treatment from injuries sustained.
The accident occurred on Monday night in the Lekki area of Lagos Island.
Movie director, Abinibi, shared a video and pictures from the accident scene on Instagram.
He said the singer is presently receiving treatment and recovering at an undisclosed hospital.
“My friend @djinee was involved in a ghastly accident Monday morning around 1 am somewhere in Lekki.
“It’s a miracle he survived! He’s currently receiving treatment and recovering accordingly. Please keep him in your prayers. His phones lines are not available at the moment but you can reach me if it’s important,” he wrote.
Djinee was once a Veejay at Soundcity before he began singing professionally in 2005.
He dropped his popular single ‘Ego’ which brought him to limelight and subsequently his debut album which features the popular single ‘Overkillin’ in 2009.
