Singer and rapper Skales has announced the death of his mother.
The ‘Must Shine’ star made the announcement in a Instagram post on Tuesday October 25, where he posted an old video his mum singing and dancing.
Captioning the video, he wrote: “My Angel I will miss you forveve.”
Fellow celebrities and fans consoled him in the comment section of the post.
In June 2019, Skales revealed that his mother was a victim of sexual abuse and molestation by his father.
“My mum was abused and molested by my dad but she still held it down for that madafaking nigga!!! Cz of me but that idiot still dipped with another woman and I refused to go with him stayed with my mum guess wat I was only 5yrs old but witnessed all that …she never spoke up,” he tweeted.
Born Raoul John Njeng-Njeng in Kaduna State, the 31-year-old Edo indigene adopted the stage name Skales which is an acronym for ‘Seek Knowledge Acquire Large Entrepreneurial Skills’.
