Six celebrities Lizzy Anjorin has had public disputes with

Actress Lizzy Anjorin is once again at the center of controversy, this time involving gospel singer Tope Alabi.

The dispute began when Lizzy’s fan club, in collaboration with her husband, organised a surprise birthday celebration for her on April 4, 2025.

The event was kept under wraps, with Tope Alabi invited to perform, but without prior disclosure that Lizzy was the celebrant.

Upon arriving at the venue, Tope was taken aback to learn that the event was in honour of Lizzy Anjorin.

She declined to perform and left the premises. The singer’s actions prompted a swift response from Lizzy, who took to social media to express her dissatisfaction.

In her post, she criticised Tope Alabi for refusing to perform and questioned her moral integrity, stating, “I am holier than you, Aunty mi Tope. I have impacted more lives than you.”

This latest controversy adds to a long list of public feuds involving Lizzy Anjorin.

Below are six notable conflicts that have defined her public persona:

Tope Alabi (April 2025): The recent fallout centered around Alabi’s refusal to perform at Anjorin’s surprise birthday celebration, which sparked a sharp exchange of words.

Iyabo Ojo (2025): In January 2025, actress Iyabo Ojo accused Lizzy of harassment and cyberstalking, claiming that Anjorin had targeted her family and close associates.

The accusation led to a stern legal warning. Their ongoing tensions also involved a 2024 legal dispute over Lizzy’s allegations that Iyabo exploited the death of singer Mohbad for personal gain.

The matter culminated in a court reconciliation in June 2024.

Toyin Abraham (2019–2022): Lizzy’s feud with Toyin Abraham began in 2019, when she accused Toyin of orchestrating online attacks and leaking false stories.

The dispute escalated to a social media war, but by August 2022, Toyin confirmed the matter had been resolved after police investigations cleared her. Lizzy later apologized, and the two moved on from the incident.

Funke Akindele (2019): Lizzy’s relationship with Funke Akindele was marked by another public fallout in 2019, following a disagreement over the invitation of Funke’s husband’s ex-wife, Fola Tinubu, to the premiere of her film.

Lizzy publicly criticised Funke but later defended her and actress Mercy Aigbe against critics who questioned their association with Tinubu.

Ronke Oshodi-Oke (2018): A dispute between Lizzy and fellow actress Ronke Oshodi-Oke began in 2018 when Ronke posted a video advising colleagues to avoid flaunting wealth online.

Although Ronke didn’t name anyone, Lizzy felt personally attacked and responded with scathing remarks, calling Ronke an “old jobless beggar” and accusing her of hypocrisy.

The back-and-forth drew widespread attention, with Lizzy lamenting that such conflicts stemmed from inferiority complexes in the industry.

Saidi Balogun (2017): Lizzy’s disagreement with actor Saidi Balogun arose in 2017 when he scheduled the grand finale of his 50th birthday event on the same day as Lizzy’s movie premiere, Owo Naira Bet.

Lizzy publicly voiced her displeasure, resulting in a fallout. However, a reconciliation was later facilitated by business mogul Femi Bakre and his wife.
