The controversies that trailed Skales’ departure from Empire Mates Entertainment (EME) and the accident he had along the Lekki-Epe Expressway in December 2011 formed the peg for the video of ‘Nobody’s Business’ released on Tuesday.
A collaboration with EME leading man, Banky W, the video is a defiant message to the media – especially the online variety as typified by a lady who bears a resemblance to Linda Ikeji in the video – to mind their business.
Having settled his dispute with Baseline Music, Skales’ message in the new video, which was directed by Paul Gambit, is that Ms Ikeji and the rest of us are his admirers after all.
