The death of social critic and fashion enthusiast, Sefinatu Muhammed, has finally been officially announced two months after it occurred.
Aged 69, Mrs. Muhammed died on September 22, 2017, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
Sefi, as she was fondly called, was a regular caller on radio stations and spoke passionately about politics, human rights, consumer rights and economy among other subjects.
Survived by a son, Muktar, an undergraduate at the University of Lagos, Muhammed was buried on Friday, November 24 after a requiem mass at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Badagry, Lagos.
“She will be missed dearly by her family, friends, and admirers,” a message on an obituary page created for her reads.
