Socialite Farida Abdulkabir of House of Phreedah has been rescued after attempting to jump into the lagoon from the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos.
Abdulkabir, on Thursday night, drove her Lexus SUV to the bridge, alighted and was about to jump into the lagoon when some men rescued her.
A video which has gone viral on social media captured the businesswoman dressed in black weeping as she was held by some men.

She was reportedly taken to a police station afterwards.
This comes amid rumour that Abdulkabir’s luxury wedding to Demola two months ago in Lagos had ended.
Abdulkabir posted a video in Yoruba on Thursday evening begging her husband, a woman called Larrit with whom she has been in a running battle and the public in general. She has now deleted the video.
