Actress Sola Kosoko has congratulated her father, Jide Kosoko and veteran actor Adebayo Salami on their conferment of honourary doctorate degrees in theatre arts and media production by Achievers Networks UK Academy.
Sola celebrated the achievement on Instagram on Sunday, sharing photos of the honorees in their doctorate gowns.
“Congratulations Fathers @princejidekosoko and @adebayo.salami Dr Otunba Adebayo Salami and Dr Prince Jide Kosoko 🥰🥰,” she wrote.
“We appreciate the organisers who conferred our Daddies with honorary Doctorate degrees. Thanks for thinking in this direction. 🙏🙏🙏 Happy Sunday 😘😘😘 Happy New Month.”
The conferment ceremony was held on Saturday at the Aderinokun Lecture Theatre, University of Lagos, Akoka.
Notable actors, including Laide Bakare, Yinka Qudri, Yemi Solade, Femi Adebayo, Bidemi Kosoko, and Shola Kosoko herself, were present at the event to celebrate the honorees.
The honorary degree from Achievers Networks UK Academy recognizes individuals for their outstanding contributions to their respective fields.
Other recipients of the award include Kehinde Oluwafunmilayo, Olukilede Joseph, Ogundepo Abdullahi, Jackie Kassim, and Mohammed Lawal.
