Forgotten Super Eagles midfielder, Sone Aluko, showed coach Gernot Rohr what he’s been missing with another impressive performance for his club, Fulham, at the weekend.
The 28-year-old won the Man of the Match award after scoring and assisting in his club’s 3-1 win over Preston in the English Championship.
As a result, the former Hull City star made it into the league’s Team of the Week.

Aluko has had somewhat of a revival since leaving the Tigers last summer – contributing 12 goals for the Cottagers.
However, he has constantly been overlooked for the national team with his last appearance coming over two years ago.
Should the ex-England youth international maintain his superb run of form for his club, then Rohr will be left with no option than to succumb by handing him his eighth cap.
