Actress Sonia Ogiri has thrown a surprise birthday party for her son Junior on his 17th birthday.
Sonia shared photos and videos from the surprise party on her Instagram account on Monday.
The video captures moments where Junior’s friends sang a birthday song for him and Sonia giving out souvenirs to guests at the party.
“We had a blast at my Son’s 17th Birthday with Friends. He never saw it coming. Me and Surprise na 5&6😂. Thank you all,” she captioned the post.
Sonia had her son in January 2007. She often shares videos and photos of the boy on her Instagram account.
In one of her posts, the actress and businesswoman said she gave birth to her only son when she did not know how to raise a child.
“WHEN PRAYING TO GOD FOR A CHILD, PRAY FOR A KID, (KIDS) NOT PIKINS ZERO STRESS ZERO WORRIES, ZERO CONCERN. I HAD HIM WHEN I DIDN’T KNOW ANYTHING, NOT EXPOSED, NO KNOWLEDGE OF RAISING A CHILD BUT GOD STOOD BY ME, GAVE ME THE STRENGTH, WISDOM TO TRAIN HIM. TODAY WHEN I LOOK BACK HA, ALL I SAY IS THANK YOU JESUS. MY UNBORN KIDS WOULD BE NOTHING LESS BUT EVEN BETTER,” she wrote.
Born on October 31, Sonia Ogiri started her career as a model before venturing into acting. She made her acting debut in the Nollywood movie Cry with Me which was released in 2013.
