Dele Momodu’s niece, Sophia Momodu, has slyly replied pop singer, Davido, on his statement about rescuing her from flying economy during her recent trip to Ghana.
Davido and Sophia have been a topic for debates on social media since rumoured to have reunited through their daughter, Imade, on a trip to Ghana.

Following Davido’s statement, Sophia shared a picture of herself and daughter on Instagram late Thursday with an hashtag addressing Davido’s dig.
She wrote: “Entering 2020 just how I like it… With my best girl & on the move. #2020WeMoveNoMatterWhat #BreakingLimits #WeFlyFirstOrBusinessClass.”
Davido had said: “My daughter’s mom had business in Ghana with Afrochella selling Imade’s hair products at stalls and I obviously was booked to perform at Afronation. I simply gave her a lift to Ghana for the sake of Imade who I didn’t want left in Lagos without her mom. It was either that or she fly economy.”
The singer added that it “would make no sense whatsoever for me to be doing such” considering his intention to marry Chioma Rowland.

Sophia and Davido had a bitter disagreement over the care of Imade. She accused him of child abduction after he attempted to travel with the child to Dubai in 2015.
They later reconciled and agreed to have Imade remain with her mother.
