Nollywood actor Richard Mofe-Damijo, popularly called RMD, on Sunday revealed that the late rapper Sound Sultan wished him a happy 60th birthday three days earlier than usual.
RMD clocked 60 on July 6. His parents never attained the age.
The much-loved actor asked in his Instagram post if Sound Sultan sent the birthday message early because he knew he might not be able to do so later.
With pictures of the rapper, RMD wrote: “Did you know when you wished me happy birthday three days earlier than usual that you won’t have the strength to do it a day later?
“Words would never be enough my brother. Love you men!”
Countless celebrities and fans have taken to social media to mourn the rapper whose 2000 song ‘Jagbajantis’ was a hit.
Sound Sultan died after battling Angioimmunoblastic T-Cell Lymphoma.
