Publisher of Sahara Reporters and the convener of RevolutionNow protest, Omoyele Sowore, has filed an appeal against the ruling of the Federal High Court in Abuja restricting him to stay in the area.
Mr Sowore, in his application filed at the Court of Appeal in Abuja, wants the court to set aside the bail condition restricting him to the Federal Capital Territory pending the hearing and determination of the suit filed against him by the Federal Government.
The case could not be heard on Thursday. It was, however, adjourned until May 6.
Sowore and his co-accused, Olawale Bakare, are being tried for treasonable felony, fraud among others.
