National chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole, has said that former presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, has no right to call for revolution.

Oshiomhole said this on Wednesday after a meeting of the APC National Working Committee (NWC) with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Sowore, convener of the RevolutionNow Movement, was arrested by the Department of State Security (DSS) last Saturday, two days before the commencement of the protests.

Oshiomhole, a former labour leader, said every Nigerian has the right to protest but must properly articulate their grievances.

The APC chairman said the Sahara Reporters publisher decided to lead the protest after failing to win the February 23 presidential election.
The DSS has already applied to the Federal High Court in Abuja for an order to keep Sowore for 90 days.
