Nobel Laureate Prof Wole Soyinka on Monday paid a courtesy visit to Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun at the Government House in Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.
Mr Abiodun shared photos of the professor’s visit on social media, noting that it was a pleasure to have received Soyinka who turned 89 last month.
The governor said he was grateful for Soyinka’s counsel and support.

“It gives us great pleasure to have received in audience, Prof. Wole Soyinka, a Nobel Laureate in Literature, patriotic Nigerian and proud son of Ogun State, who paid us a courtesy visit today at Oke-Mosan,” he wrote.
“We are appreciative of his elderly advise and kind support that are of immense value,” Abiodun added.
