Controversial rapper Speed Darlington, born Darlington Achakpo, has made his first post on social media following his release from prison.

On Thursday, the rapper took to Instagram to share a video of two rams locking horns in a fierce fight.

His voice can be heard in a voiceover saying, “To those fighting, one steps back, it’s not running away; he went to gather energy and launch back with a banger!”

Captioning the post, “I am back!” Speed announced his return to the spotlight.

The rapper was released on Tuesday after spending two months in police custody at Kuje prison.

He was detained on charges of defamation and cyberstalking, stemming from allegations he made about Grammy-winning singer Burna Boy.

Speed Darlington had accused Burna Boy of having an illicit relationship with American music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, which he claimed influenced Burna’s Grammy win.

The accusations were later amplified with the release of a diss track titled Baby Oil.

He was first arrested in October 2024 but regained his freedom before being rearrested on November 27, 2024, during a performance in Owerri, Imo State.
