Controversial crossdresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has advised Nigerians following his release from the Kirikiri correctional facility.
Bobrisky was released on Monday after serving a six-month sentence for abusing the naira.
Videos shared online show him in the company of actresses Eniola Ajao and Moyo Lawal.
In an interview with GoldMyneTV after his release, Bobrisky said, “Follow the rules, abide by the law. Don’t spray money, unless you want to become a landlord inside Kirikiri.”
He added, “It’s not just about killing or any criminal activity, something light like this can take you there.”
Appearing to shade some persons, the online personality added, “I’m only focusing on my friends who were there for me, and I’m grateful. I’m not thinking about any other person.”
Bobrisky was arraigned on April 12, 2024, at the Lagos State High Court on a four-count charge and subsequently sentenced to six months imprisonment by Justice Abimbola Awogboro.
Bobrisky had told the judge, “My Lord, I wish that you could give me a second chance to use my platform to inform and educate my followers about spraying money.
“I will do a video on my page and educate people about spraying money. I will not repeat this, My Lord. I regret my actions, My Lord.”
