Nollywood actress, Stella Damasus, and her filmmaker lover, Daniel Ademinokan, are set to launch the test transmission of their online television station called Mon Afrik TV in 2016.
According to Stella, Mon Afrik TV is BET, MTV, E-online, NBC and CW Network all rolled into one but with 100% African content.
Ademinokan stressed that the station is creating a platform for producers to showcase their works to the world and make good money for themselves without having to deal with the run-around from TV stations.
Stella added, “We want Africans all over the world to see this as their own medium of expression, not just another TV station”.
In December 2014, after months of speculations, Stella finally confirmed her relationship with Daniel who was previously married to actress, Doris Simeon.
