Founder of X3M Ideas, a Lagos-based digital advertising agency, Steve Babaeko, has launched a presidential ambition.
Mr Babaeko made his intent public on Wednesday via Twitter, saying simply “It is time!”
He has also launched a website known as stevebabaeko.com to boost his ambition.
Although the advertising expert did not state what presidency he was running for, a source close to him told Qed.ng that the presidential ambition is for the Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria (AAAN).
Some social media users have reacted to the development.

Babaeko began his career in 1995 with MC&A Saatchi & Saatchi where he worked for five years.
In 2012, he left 141 Worldwide, where he worked for seven years as creative director, to set up X3M Ideas.
He is also the founder/CEO of X3M Music, a record label that has as its marquee act, among others, singer-songwriter Simi.
