Founder of X3M Ideas, a Lagos-based digital advertising agency, Steve Babaeko, has been elected president of the Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria (AAAN).
Mr Babaeko revealed this in a video of appreciation posted on Instagram on Thursday.
“A few weeks ago we started our campaign for the presidency of the AAAN, it gives me so much joy to announce to you that today the association overwhelmingly elected me as the brand new president of the AAAN,” he said.
The advertising expert thanked all for their support, generosity and goodwill and pledged to take the association to ‘the next level’.
Babaeko had made his intent public in late June.
He also launched a website known as stevebabaeko.com to boost his ambition.
Babaeko is also the founder/CEO of X3M Music, a record label that has as its marquee act, among others, singer-songwriter Simi.
