Ghanaian dancehall musician, Stonebwoy, pulled out a gun out on the stage of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) on Saturday.
The 2019 edition was the 20th installation of the awards ceremony and Stonebwoy had been crowned the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards reggae dancehall artiste of the year.
While giving his acceptance speech, he called out colleague, Shatta Wale, bragging about winning the award for the fifth year in a row.
The taunting got to Shatta Wale who made his way to the podium with members of his entourage to confront Stonebwoy.
They were however stopped and in a video circulating online, Stonebwoy is seen with a gun on stage while he is held back by security operatives.
It was later reported that Stonebwoy was handcuffed and taken away by the police.
