Actress Kate Henshaw has called out bullies trolling others for not publicly mourning singer Mohbad.
The 52-year-old did this in a video posted to Instagram on Friday.
According to her, Mohbad’s death should not be used for clout chasing.
“Stop going around people’s pages trolling them and finding out whether they post or not. This is not about optics even though that’s what you guys want to turn it into. You don’t know how others are involved on the backend concerning getting justice for this young man,” she said.
Kate also referenced actor Wole Ojo and dancer Don Flex who were both trolled over their respective comments and tributes on Mohbad’s death.
“I watched King Wole Ojo’s page and the poor boy was traumatised that you people went to abuse him because he asked a question. Same thing with Don Flexx. Why do you do that? Trolling people, bullying people,” the actress queried.

Rema, Oxlade under fire over tributes to Mohbad
Wole Ojo was attacked on Thursday over a post he made on his Instagram story after Mohbad’s corpse was exhumed by the police for autopsy.
His post read: “Buried alive? That’s the height of wickedness!!!”
Reacting to the attacks that came after the post, the actor said in another video on Instagram: “I saw some videos. As the human that I am, I reacted and I asked a question because to bury someone alive would actually be the height of wickedness. I never said he was. I never said he wasn’t. I never said somebody did this or somebody did that. We are all just seeing this thing unfold before our very eyes and it is quite disheartening. So because I’m an actor, I’m on TV I am not allowed to ask questions again?”
Don Flexx on Tuesday posted his tribute to the late singer while reacting to trolls who criticised him for not posting earlier.
“Dear Nigerians, some of you cannot project your driven emotions on how others chose to mourn a deceased, whether known or unknown. I saw a post of someone saying they should tag celebs that are yet to make posts on Mohbad’s demise (Rest His Soul). And I saw few comments tagging me and saying some downcast statements sigh. FYI I’ve never met or exchanged words in person with him before, only know few of his music, but still that doesn’t mean we don’t share same grief of the tragedy that has occurred. We can’t seem to please everybody; we post about the situation some will come at u saying u are chasing Clout when u don’t even know him, u keep to your sanity & respect by not posting they will still come at you. Please we all have our ways of grieving the deceased let’s try respect and understand that, no matter how one chose to do it,” Don Flexx captioned the post.
