Super Eagles midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru has been involved in a car crash near Bracciano in Italy.
The incident occurred on Saturday evening, according to SoccerNet.
This happened just two days before his club Lazio lost 6-0 to Inter Milan.
Dele-Bashiru was reportedly driving his Lamborghini in a high-traffic area when the accident occurred.
Authorities were said to have responded promptly.
The vehicle sustained significant damage however the player survived unhurt.
Following the accident, Dele-Bashiru contacted his Dutch teammate Noslin who arrived to pick him up and take him home.
The midfielder was in training on Sunday morning and was named on the bench for the Inter clash.
Dele-Bashiru came on in the 57th minute to replace Spanish winger Pedro.
The news of the accident, initially kept under wraps, gained traction on social media after being reported by Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport.
