Super Eagles midfielder, Oghenekaro Etebo, is now the father of a baby boy.
Etebo, 22, took to his Facebook page on Friday to announce the arrival of his first child.
“I call him my everything and am just so happy for the smile God has put in my face. A massive welcome to you my boy,” he wrote.
Confirming the birth of the baby was Etebo’s partner, Bethel Ebhota, who also wrote on her Facebook wall: “All hail the prince, I thank God for giving me a priceless jewel. A massive welcome to you dearie.”
Etebo stormed into prominence in 2015 as the Dream Team VI won the CAF U23 Cup of Nations where he emerged as top scorer.
He impressed with the team once again as they clinched bronze at the football event of last summer’s Rio Olympics.
Etebo’s meteoric rise impressed the national team handlers who couldn’t help but cap him eight times for the Super Eagles.
He currently plays for modest Portuguese side, CD Feirense.
