Experienced Nigerian forward, Sone Aluko, has signed a two-year contract with English Championship side, Fulham.
Aluko left Hull City at the end of the 2015/16 campaign and was linked with a number of clubs over the last couple of weeks.
But the left footed attacker, capped seven times by the Super Eagles, preferred a move to Craven Cottage.
“The club is happy to announce the arrival of Nigeria international Sone Aluko,” read a statement from the Championship club.
“The 27-year-old attacker joins Fulham on a two-year deal, with a club option for an additional 12 months, following the expiry of his contract at Hull City.”
Aluko started his professional career with Birmingham City and has also represented Aberdeen and Rangers during a well-travelled career.
He scored 15 goals in over 60 appearances for Steve Bruce’s side and is fondly remembered for his brace in the 3-3 draw with South Africa in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in 2014.
Prior to switching allegiance to Nigeria, Aluko represented England at various youth levels including the U19 and 20.
His sister, Eniola, is also a footballer but opted to represent the Three Lions and currently plays for Chelsea Ladies.
