Super Eagles stars celebrate Nigeria’s Independence Day

Despite the hectic football season, Super Eagles players still created time to celebrate Nigeria’s Independence.

The West African nation marked her 58th anniversary of self-rule on Monday.

In the forefront is the team’s skipper, Mikel Obi, and deputy skipper, Ahmed Musa.

The trio is almost certain to make Gernot Rohr’s squad for the double-header Africa Cup of Nation qualifiers against Libya.

The Super Eagles are currently third of the group with three points behind Libya and South Africa on four apiece.
