Nigeria’s Super Eagles and their Ugandan guests were treated to a sumptuous dinner by Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State after Tuesday’s international friendly.
The three-time African champions were forced to a scoreless stalemate by the Cranes at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba.
Villarreal winger Samuel Chukwueze who made his debut in the game thrilled fans with his deft touches and trickery at the right flank.
Despite Nigeria’s dominant display, they failed to score.
Striker Victor Osimhen missed gilt-edged chances as fans were kept at the edge of their seats.
At the end of the encounter, however, both sides had reason to smile thanks to their host governor.
The dinner featured some prominent artists including Rudeboy of the defunct P-Square.

There won’t be many grins if both are drawn against each other at next year’s Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Cameroon.
The pair secured qualification for the biennial event with a game to spare.
