Nigeria’s Super Eagles didn’t move an inch in the latest FIFA rankings for February released on Thursday.
The three-time African champions remained 41 in the world and seventh in Africa.
This is largely due to the fact that the country’s national football team weren’t involved in any competitive game in the month under review.
Globally, the top 10 teams also remained unchanged with Argentina, Brazil, Germany, Chile and Belgium leading the pack.
The top six sides on the continent were also untouched.
Egypt (20), Senegal (28), Cameroon (32), Burkina Faso (36), Tunisia (37) and DR Congo (38) are the only teams placed above the Super Eagles.
The West African nation will most definitely move in next month’s rankings considering they will engage in two friendlies against neighbours, Senegal and Burkina Faso, who are both placed higher in the standings.
