American supermodel, Tyra Banks, on Wednesday evening announced the arrival of her son through a surrogate mother.
The America’s Next Top Model host shared an image on Instagram with the message: “The best present we worked and prayed so hard for is finally here, He’s got my fingers and big eyes and his daddy Erik’s mouth and chin. As we thank the angel of a woman that carried our miracle baby boy for us, we pray for everyone who struggles to reach this joyous milestone. York Banks Asla, welcome to the world.”
Her boyfriend, Erik Ala, added “Witnessing the dawn of life is possibly life’s greatest gift.”
Tyra, 42, had shared during her daytime talk show, FABLife that it has been very difficult for her to get pregnant.
She also admitted on the show that she was undergoing IVF treatments before reiterating how important it was for women to support each other.
