Suspected bandits have killed the sister of Kabiru Marafa, the senator representing Zamfara Central in the National Assembly.
Ade Marafa was the senator’s elder sister.
The slain woman’s husband, who is said to be a village head, was kidnapped by the suspected bandits on Monday night at their residence in Ruwan Bore area of Gusau local government area.
The armed men, numbering about 100, stormed the surrounding villages in the area setting houses ablaze and killing scores.
