Suspected thugs have attacked escorts, drivers, and some vehicles conveying electoral materials to Azendeshi ward in Benue State.
The state is among a few others where the electoral body is conducting supplementary elections after polls were declared inconclusive.
The state’s Resident Electoral Commissioner, Nentawe Goshew, raised the alarm on Saturday.
Goshew, through the spokesperson of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in the state, Emmanuel Okpe, said the attack occurred along Zaki Biam in Ukum LGA.
